Supporting Families with Young Children in Rural Highland

Family First Groups


Family First offers a support service to families with at least one child under 4 years of age.

This support is offered in the following ways:
  • Through a flexible home visiting service which is tailored to the needs of individual families.
  • Facilitating groups which offer parents the opportunity to share ideas and attend workshops on issusses identified by those attending.
Families can apply for this service by contacting the local Co-ordinator or talking to their health visitor or other professional.

It is always the family's choice whether or not to accept this service.

Family First also offers parents af all ages and backgrounds an opportunity to share their experience and skills with other parents by becoming volunteers for the organisation.
